Who is ready for some serious Black Friday sales??

Are any of you braving the crowds? Or are you staying nice and warm and doing your shopping online?
Me... yes, I will be braving all of the crowds and spend the day with my mom, sister and sister in law. It's sort of a tradition, and we map out our whole day from about 6am till evening depending on the sales..

For those of you not familar with Black Friday... it's the day following Thanksgiving Day. Many U.S. shops stay open all night, or open crazy early, like 4 a.m., and they offer HUGE promotional sales to kick off the shopping season. Hence, "Black Friday" means that retailers are finally turning a profit, or "in the black".

Journal It: Adjectives

"Journal It" is where you can find help with journal inspiration or where you can find a quote that you can use on about on almost ANY layout. I hope this will help to inspire you. You could use the prompts in many different ways... you might use the prompt on your layout and stop right there, you may not need to journal more... Whereas other times these prompts might inspire you to write about something even deeper. Feel free to check out this weeks prompt below. If you missed any, you can check out any previous prompts too. Be sure to check in each Monday for a new journaling prompt!

Have you ever scrapped an amazing layout... then left it without any words on the page?
How does the page feel? Does it create a meaning or feeling when you look at it??
Don't just don't leave it blank, try adding a quote, description of a little journaling.

To help think of "something" to say, lets that a look at this weeks journaling prompt.

- use one, two, three or more adjectives

What does this mean?
You can use adjective to describe many types of things on your page:
- About a person, describing them or their personality.
- Describing an event
- Look at the location around you
- Use your senses.

How can you use adjectives?
Now what can you do with them once you find the 'perfect' adjectives?
1) try making your own word art using fonts.
2) use one adjective to inspire more journaling or a story on your page.
3) Or use lots of coordinating adjectives to scatter throughout your page.
Be creative.

Here is my layout. I thought of what adjective stood out to me... then used the adjective for a title and journaled keeping my adjective in mind for my story-starter.

The end of the year is quickly approaching and I still have a ton of pictures and pages left to scrap!
