Happy Friday everyone! I am soooo excited to show you what I have NEW today.
I was so lucky to collaborate with a dear friend, Kate Hadfield. For those of you who don't know who Kate is, oh boy, you are really in for a treat. Kate is an amazing artist that 'shock', draws using real paper, pencils, pens and color pencils. Yes, she is an incredible doodlist. She I found myself a little starstruck to work with her caliber of artistry, but our designs blended together beautifully to give you this colorful, yet traditionally rustic kit. Nothing like a little retro modern patterns mixed with a splash of bright colors. Believe you, me... this kit can help to remember SO many of your memories. From swims in the lake, to exploring trails, from tent camping, to the kids summer camp, and of course, SMORES! (My favorite part!) Take a look before I gush on even more.

JOURNAL IT: Notes From Today

Welcome to another journal it series. "Journal It" is where you can find help with journal inspiration or where you can find a quote that you can use on about on almost ANY layout. I hope this will help to inspire you. You could use the prompts in many different ways... you might use the prompt on your layout and stop right there, you may not need to journal more... Whereas other times these prompts might inspire you to write about something even deeper. Feel free to check out this weeks prompt below. If you missed any, you can check out any previous prompts. And be sure to come back because I'll be posting a new journaling prompt every other week!

This weeks Journal It prompt is a simple one: Notes From Today.

Sometimes the Journal It prompt can simply be used as a title, but this prompt requires some journaling. I know some people really struggle with journaling, but this prompt is great for minimalist journalers as well. You could:

- Jot notes from the day just like you would jot notes on a piece of paper. You could even write them down in a list format.

- Write out the full story so you don't forget any detail of the memory you are recording.

My CT came up with some great inspiration using this journaling prompt! I hope they inspire you as much as they do me!

Happy Friday! Guess where I heading again?? Um mmmm... should I be embarrassed to say on vacation again? But this time we are driving to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. I like to try and plan an 'educational' type trip for the kids each year. They LOVE this type of stuff, and even better they absorb all of the information. So what a better way to learn than with travel? We have a few little adventures planned like seeing the Mount Rushmoore monument, panning for gold (yes, the kids actually think they may find something), and we will be taking in the largest buffalo reserve in the U.S., Custer State Park.
