Yes, it is officially summer vacation! I'm still trying to decide if that's a good thing or not! HAHA!! So far no big sibling fights, but its only 9am.

Just wanted to share some layouts that I've been doing.

I'll start with my score of Disney layouts. This one I made for either the front cover or the front inside page of my Disney book. I haven't decided.

Worn Out!! And a PEEK at tommorrow!!

Yes, I am officially old. Er, at least I feel old. We had my daughter's field trip today to the zoo. After we had finished the zoo, and we all were eating a nice picnic lunch I find out we were going on a 2 mile hike. "Oh", I said. Hmmm... as I look down at my black dress pants and cute little flip flops. (I had dressed for a field trip/gotta work afterwards kind of day, not a 2 mile hike kind of day) And besides the obvious, anyone that knows me, knows that me hiking anywhere sounds like alot of work much less 2 miles. But I sucked it up and trudged on. But now that I'm back home and sore, wow I am REALLY regretting the nice leisure stroll through the woods. OK whine whine... I'll move on.

I would have showed you earlier. (But again, remember the hike story) ah yes!

my baby's not a baby anymore

Yes, that's right. My baby turned 5 today. :sniff: I can't believe five whole years have gone by of his little life. He is such a sweet boy!! I spent the day telling him stories of when he was a baby and looking through pictures together. It was so AMAZING to see his proud face as he was listen to me. Then I asked him where he wanted to go for his birthday lunch and immediate got a response of McDonalds playland. Not my favorite, but he was SO excited! After about 2 hours of playing and running off some steam, he is now nestled into bed for a nice nap! Sigh. I wish I could go join him!! HAHA!!!

Here is my little sister. She is 7 1/2 month pregnant and just is SO radiant!

This layout is of my mom and sister. My mom decided at the age of 54 to learn how to play the violin. And here both her and my sister decided to give a small little Easter recital to the family. I am just SO proud of her!!

Who's got a few photos?!?

It was so nice to have that three day weekend and get away for a long weekend. And it was even nicer that it made this week a little shorter! Funny how that works, eh? This week has been a busy and emotional one. My little baby 'graduated' from preschool. He had a little concert were his class sang some songs, then each child got to tell there aspiration using a microphone. (a very big deal for a 4 year old) I now know that he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. I'm just so proud!!

I have a pack of templates for you this week. Hopefully these will help you out for those events where you have LOTS of photos. It usually happens that those are the pictures that I DREAD scrapping the most. You know, holidays pics or an event were you have dozens of photos and its always so hard to pick and chose which photos to use and which to leave out. Well, I just go crazy if I have to leave a good photo out. So when I do have tons of pictures to use, I do layouts that cram TONS of photos in, yet still have that timeless/classic look. These templates are inspired by layouts I've done that people have requested...and here they are.

I think it is SO fun to mix black and white photos in with colored photos, or crop some of your picture to help tell the story (maybe a face or clothing or landscape) So know matter what template or layout you are doing...feel free to mix it up a little!! Hope you like them!

TGIF!! Yes, the Friday of Memorial Weekend..even better!!
Hope you all have fun plans for the three day holiday weekend. I'm heading up north for the weekend and hoping for weather over 50 degrees. (crossing my fingers) Usually it is frigid and windy up north. But we still always manage to have a good time just the same.

Just wait till you see what I have today!! I'm excited to show!
I'm calling them "snipettes". Which are little words or phrases that are "snipped" out. They work so easy to help tell your story and are so fun to play around with!!

There are many different ways you can use them:;

1) bunch them as a focal points of your layout
2) use just one to tell the story
3) scatter messages around on your page

I am SO excited to show you what I have out this week!! YAY!! I've been working on this for months and hope that you guys love it as much as I do!! I'm sure it's obvious what my inspiration was in creating this kit! HA HA!! The bright and fun colors work for so many layouts. This kit is seriously HUGE, I couldn't stop... I was like the energizer bunny!! There are 19papers, 2 alphas and over 78 elements in this kit!!! OK, OK I'll stop talking and get on with the show.

I made "Enjoy the Moment" kit to be a very classic, colorfully designed kit... but I wanted to make something that is especially for us Disney-lovers too. I loved all of the detail of things at Disney. You know... like those awesome Mickey-eared balloons or the fence outside Mickey's house. So here is my version of some of those things.
