Gone Missing....

9
I wanted to let you know that I will soon be going missing.
I've had alot of different health issues (nothing serious). But I will be having two surgeries to help correct some of my breathing and sleeping problems. I've usually considered myself a brave lady... but as of late, I've found I am nothing of the sort. I've quite honestly terrified. I would really appreciate any thoughts or prayers. And I hope to be bouncin' back before you know it.

Secondly... on a more cheerful note I've just now realized it's been awhile since I've posted layouts. Ohwee. I should be a better blogger. Well...here are a few layouts that I've been busy scrappin'.

Here is Sophie on her first and last day of first grade.
I can't believe how much shes' grown.

Est. Date

0
Hello Everyone! It's so hard to believe that it's already three weeks into January! It is just amazing how the time flies- and here I thought it would slow down a bit after the holidays :) How are you doing with your resolutions? Are you knee-deep in Project 365? Or are you content to just try and "catch up" with last years photos. In the end, no matter what type of layouts you are focusing on this year, it's really most important to tell the story. Date your layouts. Journal. Get it down on "paper" so that those little details don't slip on by. This weeks new release will be a great way to help you along. Here is a set of date stamps, inspired by French pictures in a frame I saw once. My designer's eye was like, "how cool would that be as a date stamp." So here you are... Est. Date.

Est.date:
Sahlin Studio
Perfect for fun layouts, graphic layouts, elegant layouts and more. Included are numeric and
abbreviated dates from 1999-2014 in clean and grungy versions. And they are easily recolored, too.
There are even a few pretty graphics and journaling boxes to give your stories a home.

Memories... so worth it.

5
Well we are back from our trip. It was so nice having a small break to enjoy my family. If you missed it, me and my extended family (including my parents and my siblings and their families) went to Orlando to celebrate my mom and dad's 35th Wedding Anniversary. What a treat! When we left Minnesota it was a balmy -18degrees (-30degree windchill), so we were excited to get out of the great north. Well, only to find out it was only 30-40's in Florida. Come on!! I wanted so sunshine. But, oh well... we had a great time despite the cold weather, and were very happy it warmed up by the end of our week.

We didn't do ALL Disney stuff (my parents aren't huge fans. SHOCK, I know). But we did a great Pirates Dinner Show, did some shopping, biking and made it to a few of the parks (minus the folks). And to top it off, I somehow received a nice vacation gift... the flu. Yes. ACK! My little 6month old nephew got sick one night, poor kiddo. Then it made it's rounds to my sister, myself, and my brother in law. Not a fun way to enjoy the end of a great trip, but I made it and am doing SO much better now. Thank goodness!!

Here are a few pic snapshots of our trip.
Well had such a fun and silly time. I LOVE my family!

Happy Friday Everyone! How were all of your holidays? I hope that each and every one of you had a blessed season, full of love, happiness, and of course, photos! LOL! Somehow that part always ends up being one of my favorites. Maybe because it helps me remember the love and happiness portion of the festivities? But I digress... I know I have been a little quiet over the holidays, I've been enjoying the Christmas and New Year's holidays. And what do I have to show for it? Two happy kiddos and alot of memories and photos to be scrapped! I myself do some of my best scrapping when the photo and element placement is all taken care of, leaving me free to do the really fun part - picking the pretty stuff! So this week I created two great big template packs that will make a HUGE dent in your holiday scrap tasks. And perfect for those 365 pictures! Not into 365 per say? I'm not trying 365 this year, but these templates would be perfect for a look at your week or month or a just a recap on your year. Take a look!

On a personal note: I am so excited to tell you my family and I are going on a little holiday!! YAY! As of tomorrow we fly to beautiful, sunny and warm (hopefully) Orlando! My entire family (my mom and dad, my siblings and their families) is going to celebrate my parents 35th Wedding Anniversary. I'll try to put some pictures up on Facebook while we are there! I don't know if I know much about Twitter to be able to tweat any pics.
